Georgia Military College (GMC) recently held its 2024 Hall of Heroes luncheon and inducted 1Lt. Michael Norse Maynard as just its ninth member.

After 30 years, the Georgia Outdoor Writers Association (GOWA) returned to Milledgeville April 18-21 to host its annual spring conference. According to its website, GOWA is an organization of professional journalists, editors, photographers and television personalities that cover hunting, fishing and conservation in Georgia.

April is designated as National Autism Acceptance Month, but Georgia College’s Center for Health and Social Issues, along with the Life Enrichment Center (LEC), hopes to bring awareness beyond just a month.
